Louise Mertens
Louise has her art studio in Antwerp. Her work is pure, inspired by minimalism and different textures. Together with Deknudt Mirrors, she has turned a mirror into a real work of art. Her designs for Deknudt Mirrors are the CONNECT collection: Connect I, Connect II and Connect III.

Axelle Vertommen
Axelle has not been in the business long as a designer, but has quite a lot of work to her name. She studied interior architecture in Antwerp and furniture design in Mechelen. Axelle is inspired by everyday objects and exceptional architecture from modernism and postmodernism. For Deknudt Mirrors, she designed the Passo mirror.

Alain Gilles
In 2007, Alain opened a studio to follow his dreams. Many of his products have won international awards, such as the Henry Van De Velde Label, the Design for Asia Golden Award, the Red Dot Best of the Best for the Welded table and the Good Design Award for the Big Table. For Deknudt Mirrors, he designed the Faux Wood black and Faux Metal brick mirrors.

Clémence is part of a multidisciplinary design studio in Brussels. She gets her inspiration for her designs from daily life and tries to translate this into elegant objects using simple and contemporary shapes. Her De Loop mirror for Deknudt Mirrors is a clear example of this. De Loop originated from everyday shapes and needs: from flowing lines, from a single movement, from two that intersect.

Inge Rylant
Inge is a freelance illustrator, designer and visual artist. Inge’s work consists of illustrations and shapes that are stripped of everything unnecessary, concentrating on the fundamental elements of the image: colour and composition. Making daily reality abstract. For Deknudt Mirrors, she designed the Mika Blue and Mika Green mirrors.

Genius duo
Luca Beel and Adriaan Tas
Luca Beel is a young architectural photographer, while Adriaan Tas is a young graphic designer. Luca was very successful in 2013 with her Luca Bowl made from coloured concrete. Adriaan is the man behind the graphic work of young designers Ben Storms and BRUT Collective. In 2017, they won the Knack Weekend Award for their Roman furniture, a modular seat that can be piled up to form a rack. For Deknudt Mirrors, they designed the Spilia mirror.

Ann Grymonpon
Ann was one of the two in-house designers at Deknudt Mirrors. Having worked there since 1990, mirrors hold no secrets for her. She’s now retired. Her designs are characterised as being intuitive, not too serious, extraordinary, organic, and simple. For Deknudt Mirrors, Ann designed the Icarus, Oxide and Scala mirrors.

Annemie Vanzieleghem
Annemie was one of the two in-house designers and head of the design and R&D departments at Deknudt Mirrors. Her vision was to be open-minded and open to new things. Annemie believes that curiosity is an important stimulus. She’s been retired since 2020. For the Reflect+ collection, Annemie designed the Nude, Divina and Tutti mirrors.

Arik Levy was born in Tel Aviv in 1963. He is a photographer and designer with a passion for art, technique and surfing. In 1991, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Art Center College of Design in Switzerland. For Deknudt Mirrors, he designed the Parisian floor mirror.

Jean-François D’Or
Jean-François designs simple and unpretentious objects – user-friendly designs with a refined and poetic undertone. His Loudordesign studio for industrial design is an international success. In 2013, he was named Belgian Designer of the Year. For Deknudt Mirrors, he designed the Edvard, Elisabeth Base and Elisabeth Wall mirrors.

Karim Rashid
Karim’s work is featured in 20 permanent collections, and he exhibits his art in galleries around the world. He holds honorary doctorates from the Ontario College of Art & Design, Toronto, and the Corcoran College of Art & Design, Washington. Roberto Paoli
Roberto is an architect and designer who specialises in small-scale designs. In 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 he won the Chicago Good Design Award. Tibert Dhont
During his internship at Deknudt Mirrors in 2017-2018, Tibert worked on a number of exciting mirrors that are still in the company’s collection. In Kortrijk, Tibert graduated with a Master’s in Product Development from the Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen. For Deknudt Mirrors, he designed the Arbo and Roto mirrors.
