ignore Amsterdam works only with talented and renowned Dutch designers. An important condition for collaboration is that they share the same philosophy as the brand. Founder Julien van Hassel started ignore Amsterdam with other designers to make minimalist design accessible. He shares ignore Amsterdam’s philosophy with:
- Alexandra Izeboud: an interior designer with ultra-minimalist, dematerialised designs that are stripped of any decorative elements.
- Frans Willigers: a furniture designer and former teacher at the Royal Academy of
Art and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, with designs presented in many places, such
as the Salone del Mobile in Milan. His work is part of the Thierry Barbier-Mueller art
collection in Geneva. - Marc Th. van der Voorn: a designer whose work revolves around ‘tension’. Every
product offers something surprising. His designs are timeless, so take your time to
discover them.
