Named after the French painter, the Mignard is a round mirror of excellent quality. The mirror glass has a sharpened facet. In combination with the golden frame, on which light scratches have been carefully applied, this gives the illusion that the mirror has been hanging on the wall for decades, despite the fact that the mirror glass is spotless. The Mignard thus adds a classic note to an interior.

The Mignard has elements of a baroque mirror. Whereas these mirrors commonly exhibit a large number of frills, the Mignard keeps it at a decorative edge around the cut facet of the mirror glass. As a result, the ornament does not take up much room in the frame, but this mirror nevertheless acquires a classic and rustic look. The frame is made of plaster and covered with gold leaf, where light scratches have been applied afterward. Not noticeable with the naked eye until you look up close, these scratches make the observer believe that the mirror appears much older than it is.

To ship to the UK or other European countries, we work with UPS or DHL for small mirrors. The site will automatically charge you €17.95 for shipping.
For our bigger mirrors, we use Jan Krediet or Wim Bosman Transport. Contact us to find out the amount of the extra costs for transport, as we can’t automatically charge it through the site.
Prices depend on the size and weight of the mirror, as well as the distance to its final destination.
